Wear the conversation

Mwanga Shop

Clothing designed to start a conversation about mental health, and a separate range of traditional wellbeing products.

Someone wearing a Mwanga shirt might get asked “are you okay?” or “what does Mwanga mean? and that is a conversation about mental health that would not otherwise have happened.

That is the whole idea behind the shop. Not merchandise with a logo on it, but something worth wearing that says something worth saying.

Mwanga Wear

Restrained designs rather than a large logo across the chest. A short line on the front, something worth reading on the back.

LIGHT.

On the back: For the days when finding it feels difficult.

CHECK IN.

On the back: How are you really doing?

KEEP GOING.

With a small Mwanga mark beneath.

MWANGA

On the back: There is no shame in asking for help.

Planned across t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, caps, beanies and tote bags. Caps carry a single embroidered word TALK, BREATHE, CHECK IN, ONE DAY AT A TIME.
