Community programmes

Programmes

Alongside assessment, Mwanga runs community programmes in Blackpool for people affected by dementia, young people moving into adult life, people recovering from childhood trauma, and organisations that need neurodevelopmental expertise.

Four programmes, four different needs

Assessment on its own is rarely enough. These programmes exist because a report and a referral leave people to manage the rest alone, and for some that is the point where things fall apart.

Funding and access

How a programme is paid for depends on the programme, the referral route and local arrangements. Some places may be accessible through funded pathways, including NHS or local authority referral where those arrangements exist.

We cannot say in advance which applies to any individual. Contact us with the situation and we will tell you what is possible.
